Outside of work, Joe is a Volunteer Pilot and serves as a Board Member for Freedom Aviation Network. He is also a Volunteer Pilot with Veterans Airlift Command and Angel Flight. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma in 1990.
In his free time, Joe enjoys backcountry flying in the mountains and canyons of Idaho, Montana, Colorado, and Arizona. He also enjoys motorcycle riding on the back roads and hills of Tennessee.
